Cheerleading

Cheerleading provides an opportunity for boys and girls 1st through 8th grade to promote spirit, enthusiasm, and a positive winning attitude. Members will learn cheerleading in a fun and safe environment.

NEW: Mini Fundraising Camp in July

We are holding a mini fundraising camp in July. Cost for everyone (including GPY cheerleaders) is $40.

All girls will receive a special camp shirt, bow, and learn all new cheers and a short dance. These will be new to everyone.

Camp is July 18 & 19, 6-8pm. Everyone who participates will have the opportunity to march in and perform at the Kla Ha Ya Days Parade with us, which is on July 20 in Snohomish.

Camp is open to EVERYONE ages 5+.

Cheer Age Groups

2024 divisions are based on age as of June 1, 2024.

Pee-Wees: 7 and 8 year olds
Midgets: 9 and 10 year olds
Juniors: 11 and 12 year olds
Seniors: 13 and 14 year olds

Please note, we ask that everyone register for their age group their cheerleader would be assigned and NOTE if you are requesting a different age group due to friends and/or brothers who play football. We will adjust groups and teams by request.

Season Cost

The cost for cheerleading season 2024 includes full uniform, insurance, and facility rentals.

Cost for the 2024 season for both new and returning cheerleaders will be $450.00.

Registration Dates

Registration is on the Register page and will be open March 1 - June 1, 2024

Uniform fitting will be offered on May 19, 2024 & June 2, 2024.

July 22, 23, & 24: GPYFA Cheer Camp
July 29 week: practice starts, 3 days per week until school starts
Saturday, August 17: Jamboree
Saturday, August 24: first games
Saturday, August 31: no games (Labor Day Weekend)
Practices 2 days per week once school starts
Saturday, September 7: second games
Games continue through September and October
Saturday, October 26: 1st round of playoffs
Saturday, November 2: semi finals
Saturday, November 9: NCYFL Championships
Saturday, November 16: NCYFL Cheer Showcase
